In order to preserve the extraction site for the future permanent tooth:

• Avoid hard/sticky foods while the spacer is in.
• You may give your child Tylenol or Motrin if in any discomfort.
• Brush and floss regularly for maintenance.
• In the event the spacer is broken, loose, or falls out:
• Please call the office to make a follow up appointment.
• Please bring the spacer with you to the appointment.
