Early Orthodontic Treatment

A Head Start for a Healthy Smile

Addressing orthodontic issues early in your child’s development can lead to more effective and less extensive treatment. By identifying problems with your child’s bite early on, we can often achieve better results with less time spent in braces, reducing both the duration of treatment and the associated costs.

The American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) recommends that children have their first orthodontic evaluation by the age of seven or sooner if a dentist identifies potential concerns. Early evaluation doesn’t always mean immediate treatment, but it allows us to monitor your child’s dental development closely and intervene at the optimal time if necessary.

At the Pediatric Dental Center we know that early orthodontic intervention offers significant advantages. That’s why by carefully observing the growth and development of your child’s teeth and jaws, we can take proactive steps if any issues arise. This approach ensures that we begin treatment at the most appropriate time if needed, maximizing the effectiveness of the orthodontic care and setting the foundation for a healthy, well-aligned smile.
